Why not Erap?

Why not Erap? : an ambiguous phrase that questions everybody.

Why can't we consider Erap to run for Presidency in 2010 Election since the only thing he wants is the common good for his people? Besides, he has so many supporters who still believe in him and in his advocacy. He is running because he wants to correct the things that went wrong in the past.

Why not give the former president Joseph Estrada another chance to run this coming 2010 election to prove himself that he deserves to serve again the Filipino people. If I were to ask who among the living past and present presidents had given his/her best service to the Philippines, and had provided so much benefits to the Filipinos that would be Joseph Estrada. If we will sum up and compare all the things that they have done for us, only Erap made a big difference!

Regarding the Executive Clemency given by President Gloria Arroyo, the issue tells that by the time Erap accepted the pardon, he can no longer run for presidency again. But according to Atty. Coco Pimentel III, he stressed out that Erap can still run because along with the power vested upon the clemency that gave him his freedom, it was also stated that with his release, his political and civilian rights will be restored. When tackled further, civilian rights includes the right to vote, while political rights give the privilege to run and be voted upon, which concludes that a promise sworn in exchange for freedom won't hold him back from running in 2010.

NLE awaits you!

The upcoming Nursing Board Exam will be on June 6 and 7. For sure, all the nursing graduates who are planning to take the NLE are very much excited and nervous as well. This will be the moment for them. After four years of studying all the nursing concepts: Foundations of Nursing, Maternal and Child Nursing Care, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Nursing Research, and Leadership and Management, only one exam will be their judge if they are really qualified to become a registered nurse!

As a nursing student, I am very much concerned with this matter especially to my friends who will be taking up the Board Exam this June. I am also excited for them. It makes me wonder, after one year, I will graduate, finish the Nursing course, take up Nursing Review, and take up the Board Exam. I will be like them. I will feel what they feel right now. It is quite exciting!

One of my professors once told me, "take the board exam when you are READY". Yes, it's true! You will know in yourself if you are ready enough to pass the Nursing Board Exam. If you think you are not yet ready, don't push yourself trying to get rid of it because if you have doubts, you might fail...

Well, to all nursing graduates who are ready to take the exam, GOOD LUCK!!! If this course is really your passion, I know, you will pass!!! GOD BLESS... ^_^

Lozada's arrest

The news of Lozada's arrest and detention last April 29, 2009 made so many people worried including the former presidents Cory Aquino and Joseph Estrada, a group of Makati Businessmen, several senators, and a movement for good governance. They have given their full support to Jun Lozada.

Mike defensor stated that he doens't want Lozada in jail, but what had happened? Lozada was arrested for the case of Perjury.

I think this is just too personal for Defensor to pursue this case since two Cabinet officials called to convince him to drop the case filed against Lozada. "My only intent is to clear my name, this is not political for me", "I am doing this for my children because I do not want my name to appear in law books that I was a kidnapper" Defensor said.

Despite of the call given by the two cabinet officials, why is it Lozada was still arrested?

Are the convincing powers of Malacanang not enough to persuade Defensor drop the case against Lozada?

Well the good thing is, at least June Lozada was not handcuffed upon arrested.
